Website mascot

A mascot that looks back at your visitors

Build an interactive website mascot from a character you create or upload. The website mascot generator makes direction and reaction images so your character can look toward the pointer and respond to clicks.

A cursor-following mascot

The interactive build includes nine viewing directions. A small player chooses the matching image as the visitor moves the pointer, creating a mascot that follows the cursor without playing a full video for every movement.

Click reactions

Reaction images let the character blink, wink or show another expression when clicked. Review the poses before embedding them so the character stays consistent.

How to add a mascot to a website

  1. 1. Choose the character

Use a transparent image from the mascot maker, or upload your own mascot.

  2. 2. Build interactive poses

Generate and review the direction and click-reaction sprite sheets.

  3. 3. Copy the embed

Add the downloaded files and supplied React or plain HTML code to your site.

Website mascot widget

Use the plain HTML embed when your site does not use React. Host the sprite sheets alongside the snippet and choose where the mascot appears on your page.

React mascot component

Use the React embed code with the same direction and reaction sheets inside a React app. Test pointer, click and small-screen behaviour in your own layout.
